No one can pretend to know the BEST iOS apps out there for Project Based Learning (PBL) and education in general. There are simply too many options - 500,000+ iPad apps at last count!

Today I will focus on apps that will allow any educator (as well as their students!) to use the iPad to create media rich projects, screencasts of mini-lessons, and full-blown movies without the need for any additional hardware beyond what the iPad has built in.

I’ll introduce you to a few of my favorite apps for educators for productivity, as well as show you some great places to search for the best apps out there that have been recommended by educators, for educators, as well as learn from the successes and failures of some of the 1-to-1 initiatives.
